'Workhorse' is as much my story as it is the story of the equestrian community. It's always been frustrating to me that not only do people view equestrians as being rich and spoiled, but that this is in fact a true stereotype for many. The goal of this project is to show the underbelly of the industry- the ones below the elite class who are handed their horse at the arena gate, ride, and then hand them off again once they're done. I wanted to show those who work for every thing they have and even those who work hours upon hours and still cannot succeed.
